Statement
Mogilev State University is the center of education, science, and
culture of the Upper-Dnepr region and holds as its primary goals:
- To fulfill the needs of the individual student in intellectual,
cultural, and moral realms through higher education and/or graduate
and professional studies
- To develop the arts and sciences through scientific research
and creative activity of educators and students and the application
of research findings in the education process
- To provide faculty members with higher education the opportunity
to advance their qualifications
- To form in university students a sense of citizenship and
the capacity to work and live in modern civilization and democracy
- To preserve and increase moral, cultural, and academic values
in society
- To disseminate knowledge throughout the general public and
thereby raise its educational and cultural standards
